CHRIS WARD
Director - Co-Founder
Chris is a 2010 Mater Dei High School graduate and was a 3 year starter on the offensive line for the Monarchs. As a senior, he was named 1st Team All-CIF-SS All-Pac-5 Division, Trinity League Most Valuable Lineman, 1st Team All-State, Parade Magazine All-American team, and served as team captain. Chris went on to UCLA to play as a freshman and start as a sophomore before medically retiring due to injuries.
Chris started his coaching career at Mater Dei and enjoyed a 30-1 record over two seasons with the varsity offensive line including a 2017 National Championship. All 5 starters earning D1 scholarships. He currently coaches OL at Orange Lutheran where the Lancers won a D2 CIFSS Championship in 2021.

Chris has found his passion which is to support the unsung heroes of the game by supporting them throughout their journey through sports and into adult life.
KODY AFUSIA
Director - Co-Founder
Kody is a 2010 Ocean View High School graduate and was a 3 year starter on the offensive line and defensive line for the Seahawks. Serving as a captain, he earned 1st Team All League his Junior year and 1st Team All CIF his senior year. Kody later received a scholarship to play for the University of Hawaii at Manoa where he was eventually named captain his Senior year and receiving All Mountain West Honorable Mention.
After graduating from UH Manoa, Kody went on to play in the Arena Football League for 2 years for the LA KISS and Baltimore Brigade. During his time in the AFL he received multiple workouts from NFL teams. Kody has decided to use all of his knowledge to enhance the lives of the younger generations of Offensive Linemen.​
TRICIA AFUSIA
Director - Secretary
Over 2 decades in Human Resource Management roles for multiple Fortune 500 and Global 500 companies. Tricia is a strategic thinker and thought leader who influenced and advises leaders as a business partner. She is a service driven leader who values excellence, has high standards and enjoys life in the process. Furthermore, Tricia brings her experience in the work force and other key vocational skills to the Arch Foundation to provide various life skills training to these Student-Athletes.
CHUCK UNDERWOOD
Director
Chuck has spent much of his life in Orange County and has cultivated many relationships along the way. He graduated from Arizona State University, where he played football on the offensive line. Chuck's networking skills and connections have helped him excel as the owner of a commercial truck parts wholesaler, and he continues to expand the business through his network of relationships. Chuck is known for his leadership, positivity, and friendly personality, and he is eager to contribute to the growth of the offensive line community in Southern California.
GARIN JUSTICE
Director
Garin is a highly respected individual in the college realm and has dedicated himself to the development and improvement of his athletes. He has a deep understanding of the expectations and demands that coaches at that level have for their players. He provides valuable insight and guidance to high school athletes, helping them prepare for the challenges and opportunities they will face at the collegiate level. His expertise and dedication make him an invaluable resource for Offensive Linemen.
MIKE SAFFELL
Director
Mike, a former Edison Charger and University of California Berkley Bear, played in 28 career games with 23 starts at center and right guard. He was honored as a Pac-12 All-Academic selection twice and part of an experienced offensive line unit with 183 games of experience and 139 starts. He now is a Graduate Assistant and is on a journey to expand and share his knowledge in the Offensive Line realm.
